PAX A8900 Desktop is an Android device with a 5.5-inch full touchscreen, payment card readers and an integrated thermal printer. The device can be used as a mobile Odoo Point of Sale. The Odoo POS application runs on the device, while the Worldline payment integration sends the amount confirmed in Odoo to the payment terminal and returns the payment result to Odoo POS.
The Desktop version combines mobile working with countertop connectivity. 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow staff to move with the device, while LAN, RS232, USB-A and USB-C support fixed use at a counter. The integrated printer issues receipts without requiring a separate printer.
